It takes a woman of persistent action to escape the past.

It takes a humble woman and a courageous woman to escape her past.

It takes a woman who is prepared to get over her shame to escape her past.

You always need to be doing SOMETHING to escape the past.

God takes our past and uses it as symbols of hope and freedom.

It takes a woman who is committed to hearing God's truth and ignoring the enemies lies to escape the past.

You will die with the destructive things of your past if you keep them.  The way to escape your past is to leave those things.

If you walk through the bush and break a pathway, it's easy to stay on that route, it takes a powerful person go break a new path, to climb over the shrubs and cut back the trees.  You are the only one who can change the patterns of your life.

Freedom is not a destination, it's a decision.

You can never have power over the things that you are not prepared to say goodbye to. Maybe we don't want to let these things go, because we like them.

There will always be trouble if you return to the things of destruction.

You never wake up and are changed, it's is a series of decisions and choices that take us on a journey that slowly change us.

Your willingnes, obedience and sacrifice today sets your trajectory for tomorrow.  You need to guard your today, for tomorrow.

Disclosure: this is not my own material (I've actually forgotten where I came across it) I kept it, and finding it later I've decided to record it, so encouraging.

Welcome

Welcome!

Well here goes, the beginning of my long planned and forever put off blog!  I hope that this is as enjoyable for me as it is for anybody else who should stumble upon it.

Life is busy right now with four young ones at home, that if I don't start somewhere the years will fly by, the day by day memories will start to fade and I will look back and only have a box full of uncatalogued photos!

I am just going to start here, at today, what we are up to this week and what exciting things are still to happen.

I plan to post weekly, just a snapshot of the past week, but then again we will just have to see where all this leads!
